Dudhmansagar Dairy
Dudhmansagar Dairy is a unit of Mehsana District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd., located at Plot no. 26D, Sector-3, IMT, Manesar, Gurgaon, and Haryana. Unit started with the vision to fulfill the demand of consumers of Delhi and NCR region. Foundation stone for it was done on 22.05.2004.All the civil and mechanical work required for start-up of the plant was completed on March 2006 and from here started the emergence of gigantic unit. It was the first time when people of Delhi came to realize the real taste of milk i.e. the taste of AMUL milk Production and marketing of milk started with 25000 litres/ day and now we have reached to 9.61 LLPD.
We also manufacture Dahi, Ice cream and UHT milk. At present we have the production capacity of 30MT/day of Dahi, 25000litres/day capacity of Ice cream and 2LLPD capacity of UHT milk. With the increasing demand of Ice cream we are undergoing the expansion of our Ice cream section from 25000litres/day to 1 lakh litres/ day. From coming summer we will be capable enough to supply this much amount of Ice cream.
Our aim is to provide remunerative returns to milk producers and also to serve the interest of consumers by providing quality and safe milk products which gives good value for money. We works on Amul pattern and procure milk from Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Main Producer i.e. Farmers supply milk to Village level collection Centre (VLCC) and from VLCC milk reaches to Milk chilling centers (MCC) in cans. Currently we are having 23 MCC in operation. At MCC complete analysis of milk is done vide grading and Chemical analysis. Cans having poor quality are rejected and are drained at MCC only so as prevent the selling of such milk in the market. At MCC milk is chilled to below 4°C temperature in order to prevent the growth of spoilage micro organism. From milk chilling centers milk reaches to dairy unit in insulated tankers. At dairy processing and packing of milk and milk products is done as per the specified standard of FSSAI and the finished product is then marketed by GCMMF.
The dairy has implemented Quality Management System based on International Standard ISO 9001-2008 in the year 2010 and Food Safety Management System based on International Standard ISO 22000-2005 in the year 2010 to ensure highest quality and safe products to consumers. All these certification has been achieved from NABL accredited lab i.e. DNV, Norway.
